Dear Client,

Tax season is here. The DEADLINE for filing is Thursday, April 30th, 2026, and we can only guarantee completion by the deadline if we receive all the information by MONDAY, APRIL 13th, 2026. The earlier we receive the information the better, especially in the case of tax refunds.

To assist you in preparing your personal tax documentation, we have listed below our standard procedures for the upcoming tax season.

2025 Personal Income Tax Checklist

This checklist will enable you to advise us of the main items to be included in your tax return and any major changes from the previous year’s information.

2025 Engagement Letter

The purpose of this letter is to outline the nature of our involvement with the preparation of your Personal Income Tax return(s). A copy will be signed upon the completion of your 2025 tax package.

What to Expect This Year:

  • We require a separate email and mobile phone number for all individuals receiving a personal tax return. Please ensure you provide this information when submitting your personal tax information.
  • For new clients, a valid government-issued photo ID is required. Please ensure that a clear copy is provided with your documentation.
  • An invoice will be included with your tax package, whether delivered digitally or in hard copy. For digital packages, credit card payment may be made at the conclusion of the electronic signing process. All additional payment options are outlined on the invoice.
  • Please ensure you download your T1 Tax return(s) for your records.
  • Documents uploaded to our portal will be automatically purged 6 months after the date of upload.
  • A flat fee of $25 will apply to any items requested to be returned by courier.

Andrews & Co Chartered Professional Accountants Professional Corporation will not be responsible for any penalty or interest charges levied by Canada Revenue Agency due to late filing of the summaries and returns if the records are not received by our office in a timely manner or if the necessary authorizations are not provided to us.
